Sometimes we just want an easy ride on the backroads to recover from days of hiking, biking, and paddling.   On a warm day in June, we chose to bike to Badger Lake and back, a total of 21.5 km.   There are a couple of hills at the start, but the whole route is relatively flat.   The road surface is excellent for mountain biking and there are 3 lakes to bike past each way.

The BC Rec Site at Badger Lake has been expanded and improved   This is a favorite spot to paddle each year too.

We rode right past Knouff Lake and Sullivan Lake both ways.   We have also paddled Sullivan Lake.   A small Rec Site with 3 sites is right on the western side of the lake.

The ride is a quick one, just right for a warm day of riding in the hills.   Another recommended route….
