Is there any way u cud show me n my kids where the best places to find some of the wonderful gemstones geodes’ quarts etc that were lucky enough to have thru out Kamloops we love searching for gemstones quartz etc n we’ve found lots of jade rose quartz crystal quarts n some tiger eye n I love the power gemstones have but were new to this so we can’t always tell what’s a gem or worth holding onto n what’s just a cool looking rock when there unpolished n id love for somone that’s into this stuff to help teach us what to look for n where to find it mist of our finds have been at Kamloops lake but I no theres alot more places around Kamloops to find gemstones just need somone that can help me learn what to look for n where to look for it

  3. We have found numerous agates and chalcedony over the last 3 weeks in the Dewdrop Range, on the slopes above Tranquille Creek, and on the slopes of Mount Mara. Nothing of high grade, but many finds.
