Buse Hill — 4 Comments

  1. Please note that the trail head and road leading to Buse Hill is through private property. The private land holders allow access through the private land with the expectation that the land is respected and not damaged. Although the buildings may look abandoned, this private land is actively managed as part of a cattle grazing system. Do not build fires, drive vehicles through private property, and take all garbage with you. Please park at the bottom at Robbins Range Road and enjoy the scenic hike to the lookout.

  2. To further support this, I have checked the provincial land registry showing Crown lands and private lands below Buse. There is a Crown-land approach 1.2 km farther along from N50 35.531 W120 01.393 to N50 35.423 W120 01.224, but thanks to the land owners for allowing the main access route.

    • The access point further down the road you are referring too is also private property. For whatever reason there are a couple parcels in this area that are not indicated as private in the Crown Registry although it has been owned by my family for over 40 years and has been private property for much longer than that. We would like people to not use this access and continue to use the main road that is indicated in your original directions.
