Every time we visit or stay at UBC, we try to visit the Botanical Gardens and we also try to walk/hike the trails of Pacific Spirit Park. We enjoy all the trails, but we vary the route each time. The trails on the UBC Enddowment Lands were well used before the area was turned into a park. A few decades ago, I hiked the trails of what is now Pacific Spirit Park regularly, there was rarely anyone else on these undeveloped trails, but now it is a fully developed Regional Park.
